Osu!
As we look at the calendar and see 2025 coming to a close, our hearts are full. It has been a truly remarkable year at Centres Ray Cormier Kyokushin Kenbukai.
Since February, we have shared 37 stories here on our blog. These posts have been a window into our dojo life, capturing the moments where our students learned that with a little bit of perseverance, they can achieve anything.
Starting the Year with a "Wow!"
Our year began with an incredible adventure that we will never forget. In February, a group of our dedicated students from the Moncton and Memramcook dojos traveled to Costa Rica for an International Championship.

The training leading up to this trip was intense! Our students showed up and worked together as a team to prepare. All that hard work truly paid off, not just because we brought home 17 trophies, but because of the sportsmanship and courage our team showed on the world stage. Whether they were competing or cheering from the sidelines, our students proved that we are strongest when we support each other.
More Than Just Karate
While the trophies are wonderful, the "magic" of 2025 happened every class in the dojo:
Confidence Growing: We watched our youngest find their voices and stand a little taller.
Friendships Forming: Our dojo has become a place where students don't just find training partners, but lifelong friends.
Families Joining In: We love seeing parents and siblings involved in our community. You are the "team behind the team," and your support makes everything we do possible!
37 Chapters of Growth
If you look back through our 37 blog posts from this year, you’ll see a beautiful "scrapbook" of our progress. We’ve shared tips on staying focused, celebrated belt promotions, and explored the lessons of respect and kindness that Kyokushin Kenbukai teaches us. These blogs aren't just about karate; they are about helping our students become the best versions of themselves, both inside and outside the dojo.
Looking Forward to 2026
As we prepare to step into a brand-new year, we want to say a giant Thank You to every student, parent, and instructor. You are what makes Centres Ray Cormier such a special place to grow up and thrive.
We can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store. More training, more lessons, and definitely more reasons to celebrate together!
Happy New Year to our entire Kyokushin Kenbukai Family!
Osu!
The Team at Centres Ray Cormier Kyokushin Kenbukai
